Dear CHP Families and Community Members,

City Heights Prep needs your support! 💙

We have a Charter Renewal Public Hearing at the SDUSD Board Meeting on Tuesday, April 14 at 5:00 PM (4100 Normal St, San Diego). This meeting helps decide the future of our school.

Showing up matters; a strong turnout proves our school is important to the community and supports keeping it open for years to come. Wear school colors, bring others, and stand with us!

Let’s make a difference together!

Our 11th and 12th grade students are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to attend a three-day college field trip! This trip takes students from San Diego up to San Francisco! Students will visit a variety of colleges, many they have applied to, so they can see what awaits them!

To make our trip a reality, please scan the QR code to check-out our Go Fund Me link. 100% of the proceeds will be to fund our college field trip.

Early Dismissal announcement flyer

Dear Panther Parents and Caregivers,

I want to share a wonderful free learning opportunity available to you as part of your parenting toolbox.

In partnership with mental health experts from the Transforming Mental Health Initiative at Rady Children’s Health, the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) is offering a series of free mental health webinars for parents and caregivers.

What is a webinar?
A webinar is simply a live presentation that you can join online from home using your phone, tablet, or computer. You can listen and watch just like you would a TV program or radio show, no travel required. Many parents like to listen while cooking, relaxing, or taking care of things at home. You also have the option to ask questions at the end if you’d like.

Webinar Details

Time: 6:00–6:45 p.m., followed by a 15-minute Q&A
Location: Online (registration required)
Cost: Free
Spanish interpretation available
Each session offers practical tips, expert guidance, and tools to help support children’s mental health.

If you have questions or would like help registering or joining a webinar, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the counseling team. We are happy to support!

Kindly,
Ms. Jimenez
